We always line our Intentions up with the Highest Good. We do this by saying: "In order for my Intentions to manifest, they must serve the Highest Good of the Universe, myself, & everyone concerned. So Be It and So It Is!
It is Done!"

Some Good Ideas from an Experienced Intenderpreneur

The following note came in from Nancy Robertson who has facilitated an Intenders Circle in the Denver area for many years. We think it will be helpful to those of you who are intending to create your own Intenders Circle.
Thank you, Nancy!

I read in the newsletter that you are recommending having movie nights for an Intenders Circle. From that share I thought I might tell our Circle's ongoing success story. Over the years we have shared movie nights as well as various presenters, workshops, drum circles, music, potlucks, field trips and more! Having this diversity keeps our Circles exciting, informative, enjoyable, and interesting.

Our Circle has been meeting, with enthusiasm, for over three years. Inspired participation is encouraged and attending is never mandatory. An average of 8-12 men and women of various ages attend each week. Sometimes our group is as large as 20 or as small as 2. Sometimes we have visitors from other groups, cities, states, or even countries. However many people show up, we know it is perfect. Small groups provide more intimate conversation, while larger groups provide more diverse ideas.

The Circle has evolved over the years with new people joining and others takng breaks for personal reasons, and then returning or not. Some have gone on to start their own circles and groups. We always encourage people to follow their passion. Accepting that the Circle is always growing and changing is one key to our success. Our meeting times, days of the week and locations have varied with the needs of the group. Presently, we meet in my home on Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8:30.

We always include the Intenders practice of sharing gratitudes, intentions and toning when we meet. An hour and a half is available for a topic, discussion or presentation each week. While I am the overall facilitator, our Circle is directed by its participants. The flow of input, suggestions, and questions from the group creates and guides us in a fulfilling opportunity where we all grow. Each person is responsible for their own experience!

Over the last twelve months we have been blessed by many who have shared their wonderful gifts, knowledge, and talents from far and wide. Aum Rak, a NeoShamanic healer from South America shared a healing blessings with the group; Alicia Lochary, a local healer who uses Tibetan Bowls performed for the group; Pam Hughes, a healer, musician, and sound therapist has shared multiple presentations with the group, including using tuning forks, drum circles, harp music and more; Pat Serafin and David Cowles shared their vision board workshop over two weeks of meetings; and Charlie Berger, a local musician, gave a house concert for our Circle recently. He shared many of his own songs and other artists favorites.

We have gone on field trips, visited and hosted other groups, had potlucks, house concerts, healers present demos of their modalities, experts share a teaching, listened to Audio series, watched video productions, and, of course, had many movie nights. There are so many great venues available to help each of us become more aware. So many people have so much to share! All of our Circles and the events are always free and open to everyone. On the nights where there is not a presenter, we share topics and teachings to help us build tools for awareness and choice living skills. All attendees are encouraged to teach, share, and learn.

At our Circles we have available only tea and water, occasionally something more is shared for a birthday or movie nights. This makes it easy for the host / hostess to have a house full of fellow Intenders! We have met in homes, offices, parks, and libraries over the years - flexibility is the key.

Tony, thanks for being the inspiration for all this and I hope our Circle's story inspires others to be open to the flow of opportunity that is all around us waiting to be shared - along with the joy of having and Intenders based community around them.
